🔥 Candle Burning Safety

To enjoy your Kip Candle Co. candle safely, please follow these guidelines:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

• Leave at least 10cm of space between burning candles.

• Always place candles on a flat, heat-resistant surface, away from anything flammable.

• Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

• Ensure the flame does not touch the sides of the container — the container can become hot.

• Stop burning your candle when about 5cm of wax remains, and do not relight it.

• Our glass Bell Jars are decorative only. Never use them to extinguish candles. Only place over your candle once it’s fully extinguished and the wax has cooled.

✨ Getting the Most Out of Your Candle

Let It Burn Evenly

Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges of the jar each time you light your candle. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures every bit of wax is used.
Burn time: 3–4 hours max per session. Always keep your candle in sight while burning.

Trim Your Wick

Before each use, trim the wick to about 5mm to prevent large flames and smoke. Remove any blackened wick using scissors or a wick trimmer for a cleaner, safer burn.

Reuse Your Candle Jars

Our containers are perfect for repurposing — great as planters or for small storage.

• Remove leftover wax by gently scraping it out.

• Wash the inside with warm, soapy water.

• Avoid cleaning the outside of our Original Metal Containers to maintain their polished finish.
